Dr. Shahid has 37 years’ experience in Public and Private Sector as Additional Director: Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHCC), Senior Vice President/General Manager: Bank of Punjab (BOP), Head of Human Resources & Marketing: Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE)

His Research articles and Case studies have been published in International Journals of repute.

Dr. Zia has been Keynote Speaker and Session Chair at numerous International Conferences in Pakistan and Abroad.

He is a Member of the Editorial Board of the Research Journal of Commerce, Economics & Social Sciences (UCP) and Reviewer of Journal of Distance Education and Research (JDER) Virtual University, Lahore.

He has served as President, Pak-American Friendship Association, and President Leo Club of Lions International District 305 Pakistan, President of the All-Pakistan Students Welfare Federation, Joint Secretary, Pakistan Judo and Karate Federation, Joint Secretary Lahore Squash Rackets Association, Joint Secretary Marketing Association of Pakistan.

Dr. Zia has three Masters Degrees in Political Science, Economics & Business Administration. He is an M.B., B.S. from (AIMC) and is PhD Scholar in Management Sciences- Abd (IBA)

Dr. Zia frequently appears on National TV, writes for National English dailies, speaks at International and National Conferences and is a widely travelled International Speaker.

Presently he is Chairman Corporate Communications at Fountain House, Lahore. Resource Specialist at Government of Punjab Management & Professional Development Department (MPDD) Lahore and Youth Development Centre (YDC) Murree of the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF)

RUKHSANA GILLANI

The newly appointed Ombudsperson, Punjab, Mrs. Rukhsana Gillani has assumed the charge on 19^th April 2018. She is an eminent proponent of socio-economic empowerment of the women to enhance their role in national development of Pakistan. She believes that female participation in economic activities will harbinger a social evolution and create an environment in which the rights of women will be better secured. For achieving this objective, a conducive and safe workplace has to be created where women can utilize their potential for personal and national growth with peace of mind and confidence.Mrs. Rukhsana Gillani belongs to Audit and Accounts Group of Pakistan and has a career spanning over three decades in public service. She remained posted at various executive posts and has made valuable contributions towards improving transparency in utilization of public sector resources. She plans to strengthen the role of this office in making institutional arrangements for foolproof safety of respect and dignity of women employees.
